Alex de Steiguer, the retreat's guest photographer, took groups out onto the rocks to one of her favorite places to shoot when she is on the island as the winter caretaker. Later in the day, we processed our digital files and reviewed our images. Verticals and horizontals, color and black and white, everyone saw the same place differently.
