About this image: The photo was taken mid afternoon and I was fascinated by the reflection and the light on the pond outside the barn. Although this was not taken at the "optimal light of the day", there are shadows in the foliage and bright spots on the grass. The contrast between the blue of the water and the green of the algae along its edges enhances the overall composition.
