Meeting Room in the Morning

About this image: The Chapel Meeting Room is illuminated with strong morning light through the old windows. The warm rust color benches are shown off in this light, which is focused on the white plaster of the back wall and window. The divided light panes of glass show the variations in the glass on the wall. The small vase of flowers fits easily in the large window cavity in the thick granite walls. The hymnals peak out of the corners of the pews awaiting to be held and opened. The Chapel has been a central feature of the Island for over 200 years. I will long remember the candlelight service in this special place.
