About the NHSPA

The mission of the New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists (NHSPA) is to support contemporary photography as a means for creative expression and cultural insight. NHSPA will focus on the education and artistic development of its members and the community by providing exhibitions, publications, education, and outreach programs.

We are not a camera club, no print competitions, no juried admission to membership, probably never a headquarters, and likely no paid staff. We are a group of photographers interested in increasing our knowledge and expanding our creative vision, while sharing what we know with each other and the community.

Formed in 1998, the NHSPA has group exhibits and conducts a fall weekend program on the Isles of Shoals. Members receive a newsletter, can participate in the organization's web site, and attend twice-annual meetings. As a member driven organization, we welcome suggestions and participation from all people interested in creative photography.

The NHSPA is a non-profit organization registered with the State of New Hampshire.
