Additional Information: This photo was taken hand held from a canoe in July 2006, using a Canon 10D with 300mm IS f4 lens .

The location is where the outlet of Great Pond in Kingston, NH enters the Pow-wow River. Adjacent to this area ids a rare cedar swamp recently protected by the Nature Conservancy.
